Server Systems Overview

The overall goal of our server systems is to offer new ways
to create, play and experience computer games. An important benefit with remote play techniques is
that the games are executing on the server-side, which means that more advanced approaches
can be used to develop the computer games. Such new approaches can improve user experiences and
reduce development efforts. Grid Computing can, for example, be used for specific computing
intensive tasks, such as ray-traced graphics, physics, artifical intelligence, speech, etc.
Cloud Computing principles can be used to offer improve human-computer interaction.
Computer Game Components™
Our Game Engine Components™ are designed for building Grid Computing game engines, as well as
traditional game engines. The Game Engine Components™ consist of a Java™ 2 Micro Edition
implementation with APIs, graphics functionalities, remote play techniques, heads-up display techniques,
desktop application integration, system functionalities, etc.
